About China-Europe Education Alliance for Humanities and Arts (CEEAHA)

Founded on June 27, 2019 by 28 educational institutions such as China Center for International People-to-People Exchange of the Ministry of Education, Renmin University of China, Tsinghua University and Beijing Normal University, etc, CEEAHA has now  scaled up into a well-organized body that unites 86 domestic and overseas members, dedicated to facilitating sustainable development and exchange between China and Europe in the field of humanities and arts education.

Adhering to the principle of “openness and inclusiveness, equal dialogue and exchanges, cooperation and reciprocity,” CEEAHA aims to deliver humanities and arts education among young generation in order to heighten their aesthetic taste and humanistic temperament, stimulate broad trans-cultural collaboration, particularly highlight joint academic and practical exchanges among China and European educational institutions. CEEAHA attempt to set a good example of leading China-Europe humanities and arts exchange forward, with creating a platform assembling featured cooperative achievements to contribute to the establishment of high-level mechanisms of people-to-people exchange among China and European Countries.

CEEAHA is operated by Board, Expert Committee, and Secretariat. Its Secretariat is based in Renmin University of China, managed by RUC School of Arts. So far, we have launched China-Europe Humanities and Arts Education Forums held in 2019 and 2023, co-hosted a bunch of humanities and arts projects with our board members, initiated “Public Humanities and Arts Seminar Series,” and more programs and projects  are underway to be settled.
