On April 1, Asst. Dean Wang Yingjian and Assistant to the Dean  and Assistant Director of the Department of Design Tong Yan  held cooperative talks with vice president of Finland’s Lapland University Minna Uotila.  Asst. Professor Zheng Xiaohong and assistant director of the Department of Design Qian Jun also participated.  Uotila described the exchange and cooperation between the two schools and hoped to be able to cooperate on art course exchanges based on an agreement already established between the two universities.  Wang Yingjian outlined the cooperative agreements the School of Arts already engages in and discussed the possibilities for more.  Both sides hope to better understand each other on the basis of this agreement and improve exchanges in the area of artistic design.
