Biography：
Tianran Duan is a Chinese artist working on experimental animation, video art and installation , and currently teaching in the art school of the Renmin University of China.
Education：
He received his MFA degree in John C’s Hench animation and digital arts program at the University of Southern California in 2011，currently a PhD candidate in aesthetics in Renmin University.
Research Interests：
Expanded animation, exhibiting film, and moving image in contemporary art context.
