The research field includes History of Chinese Art, Especially in the study of style schools, painters, works, subject matter evolution, and regional art, as well as in the collection and theory of painting. Published over 40 academic papers in professional journals. Published monographs include "Research on Ming Dynasty Remnant Painters" and "The Visual Narratives of Ming Remnant Artists"; Coauthored works include "History of Beijing Art", "Four Schools of Yuan Dynasty", and "Chinese Ink Painting". The participating textbooks include "History of Eastern Art" and "History of Chinese Art".
