Cong Zhiqiang
Associate Professor
Mr. Cong Zhiqiang, PhD graduated from Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts. He is a member of the Ningbo Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), an expert member of the China Culture Industry Association’s Rural Creation Specialized Committee, a member of the Beijing Art Industry Research Committee of the Beijing Association for Appraisal, a standing member of the Special Committee for Rural Art Construction of the Rural Construction University Union, an expert of the Ningbo Harmonious Countryside Construction Expert Database, an expert of the Ningbo Art Enabling Rural Expert Database, a member of the China Art Association, and a national-level artist.
He is the founder of the cultural deep cultivation model for rural revitalization in Zhejiang, the host of the case of “Guizhou Dingwang” in the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office’s Joint Action for a Well-off Society, and the chief planning officer and consultant of more than ten districts and counties for art revitalization of rural areas (communities). Ningbo Municipal Party Committee Agricultural Office and other 7 departments jointly issued a special document on art empowerment, and the relevant experience was popularized throughout the city. He has won more than one hundred individual awards, awards for students under his guidance, and awards for practicing villages. Hosted and participated in more than ten research projects at all levels. His research areas are regional public branding, rural revitalization through design, old community renewal, and social innovation design.
Representative works
1. Hosted the project of “designing to revitalize the rural areas”, which has been approved and adopted more than 10 items at the provincial and ministerial levels.
2. Hosted the projects of Gejia Village, Xiafengchu Village and Chengyang Village, which became the representative villages of “Ten Million Project”.
3.Hosted the regional public branding projects such as “Ninghai Zhenxian”. Among them, the packaging logo of Ninghai Zhenxian was selected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as the national model list of packaging logo for agricultural products in 2021.
Research Projects and Achievements
1.Presided over the undergraduate teaching quality and teaching reform project of 2023 of the Teaching Guideline Committee of Agricultural Economics Specialties in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, Innovation of Curriculum Construction in Cross-integration of New Agricultural Science and New Liberal Arts - Taking “Integration Design to Revitalize the Rural Area” as an Example, 2023.
2.Participate as the first member in the project of National Art Fund, Cultivation of Talents for Innovative Design of Traditional Village Art, State-level, 2018.
3.Participate as the first member in the Renmin University of China’s work plan to promote “multi-village progress, joint creation and common prosperity” to revitalize rural areas, an innovative experimental cultivation project for rural revitalization services in universities directly under the Ministry of Education, 2022.
4.Participated as the first member in the Ministry of Education’s degree and postgraduate education theme case, Artistic Rural Revitalization Innovation of Multiple Villages Advance Together, Create and Wealth Together, 2023.
