Graduated in 1996 from the Decoration Department of the Central Academy of Art & Design and in 2003 from the Visual Communication Design Department of the Academy of Arts & Design,Tsinghua University, earning a Master of Arts degree. Specializing in the theory and application research of visual communication design. Currently holds positions such as the Head of the Design Department at the School of Arts, Renmin University of China, a member of the Design Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Higher Education, a member of the National Graphic Symbol Standardization Technical Committee, a member of the National Urban Orientation Standardization Technical Committee, and a researcher at the Digital Humanities Research Institute of Renmin University of China.
Participated in the drafting of 23 national standards of the People's Republic of China(GB), led the design of 13 national standards and Beijing local standards for graphic symbols, and received national awards such as the 'China Standards Innovation Contribution Award' and the 'First-Class Science and Technology Progress Award.' As a member of the expert team, participated in the design of sports and cultural icons for the Nanjing Asian Youth Games and the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games; contributed to the design of the 'China Brand Day' logo, and was the designer of the final selected scheme. Led the design of the identity and visual identification systems for a series of national and provincial projects including the 'Chinese Arts and Literature Award' by the Ministry of Culture, the 'China-Africa Science and Technology Partnership Plan' by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the 'China-UAE Joint Innovation Lab' (national laboratory), 'Tai Temple Art Museum,' 'Beijing Municipal Food and Drug Administration,' 'Beijing Humanities and Social Science Research Center,' 'Beijing Education Base for Strengthening the Consciousness of the Chinese National Community,' as well as dozens of commercial brand identity designs. In 2018, took charge of a sub-project research under the national key R&D program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, focusing on 'Wayfinding Signage System Design, Application, and Evaluation Technology Standards'."
