Liu Jie is a professor and doctoral tutor of the Academy of Art of Renmin University of China,director of the Department of Music, director of the theoretical teaching and research department, member of the China Literature and Art Critics Association, and researcher of the Digital Humanities Research Center of Renmin University of China. The main research directions are music creation research, music culture research, and art digital humanities research. She graduated from the Department of Composition of the Central Conservatory of Music and obtained a bachelor's degree in composition, a master's degree in composition technology theory, and a doctorate. In 2016, she was funded by the National Foundation for Studying Abroad to study in the United States for a year. She has published nearly 30 papers and 2 monographs in core journals and newspapers such asthe Journal of the Central Conservatory of Music, the Journal of Renmin University of China, Tianjin Social SciencesandGuangming Daily,presided over a project of the Humanities and Social Science Research Planning Fund of the Ministry of Education, and participated in 2 projects of the National Social Science Foundation as a member of the research group.
