Cheng Yawei is a national first-class performer. Director of the Chamber Music Society of the Chinese Musicians Association. Leader of the Orchestra of Chinese National University, associate professor. One of the main creators of the National Arts Fund support project (Xiyun), winner of the Excellence Award of the 3rd National Violin Competition; And won the highest award of the Ministry of Culture's "Flying Youth" art show. He has worked with the National Symphony Orchestra of China.


Mr. Cheng Yawei performed "Liang Zhu" at the famous Bayreuth Youth Music Festival in Germany, which was a great success. During U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's visit to China in 2011, he gave an outstanding performance to the leaders of China and the United States at the Great Hall of the People, and the "China-Africa Forum" held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. In July 2019, he participated in the "70th Anniversary Concert of the Founding of the People's Republic of China", in which the violin concerto of "Hope of the Sea" and "Ode to Pear Blossom" was the world premiere.
